Great Bend or Bust

We went to Great Bend, KS this past weekend to see some family and the kids loved it! Our hotel had a crane machine filled with stuffed animals that Roman constantly had his eye on. After suckering my Aunt Mary Kay out of what seemed to be at least $10, he had managed to grab half the toys in the machine. I'm not even kidding! We came home with over a dozen new toys. Some were graciously given to Willow and Harper. Mimi was gifted a stuffed horse as well. We saw Mimi and Monkey and had a good time with them. The kids are still talking about how much they miss them. Mary Kay and Erika, my Aunt and cousin, were also there. They showed our kids quite a time. CW and Erika took the kids swimming at our hotel and Willow showed her true daredevil colors during their chlorine craziness. I think we need to get her into some swimming lessons soon. Roman had a good time too, jumping off the side into his Dad's arms. They had so much fun that night. We also saw my Grandma Kultgen, who is doing well, Nanny, who is also doing pretty well, and a bunch of my dad's cousins. We all had a great time seeing everyone. We also managed to visit John, Wendy, Anna and Jordan. It just so happens that Joshua and Asa were there as well. It was a kids' cousin fest! There was jumping on the trampoline, playing on the swing set, and going crazy in the basement to be had. It was good to see the Popps too. On the way back to CO, we stopped in and ate dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, and Mae Maw. We swung, went for "tractor" rides, and got muddy. The kids wanted to stay the night, but we had to press on. We got home at around midnight and crashed hard. Our next adventure won't be until September when we fly to Dallas. Until then........here's some GB pics.
