Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

We decided to go check out the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in the Springs today, and we all had a blast. Upon arrival, we bought the kids some stuffed animal snakes, which they are now using to hit each other with. Awesome. One of the big events at this zoo is this area where you can hand feed giraffes. Roman and Willow LOVED it!!! We worked our way through the zoo and stopped to eat lunch at the halfway mark. Harper didn't make a peep the whole time! She was checking out animals and watching her brother and sister run around. She eventually fell asleep at one point, but never fussed once. I can't say the same for R & W! We also encountered some really friendly chipmunks that were roaming free all around the zoo. At one point, a chipmunk actually came up to me and took a piece of food out of my hand. The kids were laughing their butts off. It was a great day and we can't wait to go back some time. Until then, enjoy these pics!
