Los Angeles
We made it back in one piece after spending 2 days in Cali. Day one was filled with a windy lunch at Galdstones on Malibu Beach followed by the viewing of my brother's pilot Southern Discomfort. We got to see Chad in action on the set, which was quite impressive, and meet all the actors including TV Rudy. The show was awesome and we are all very proud of Chad and hope that Southern Discomfort gets picked up for some more episodes. Day 2 was sight seeing day. We hit up the walk of fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Barney's Beanery for lunch, The Griffith Observatory after about an hour in 405 traffic, Mullholland Dr. where my mom almost threw up and claims caused her vertigo that night, back to the hotel for drinks, Rodeo Dr. for dinner at McCormick & Schmick's, then back to the Palomar Hotel for some R&R. We had a really great time in L.A. but the best part was seeing my big brother living out his dream. We were all impressed with his hard work and laughed our asses off during the pilot. No matter what the outcome, whether SD gets picked up or not, I am truly impressed with my brother's success and always knew he'd make his dreams come true. Here's to you Chad. Saying we are proud of you is an understatement. Check out the pics from our trip! L.A. or bust.
