Windy Northwest KS

This past weekend we traveled out to Northwest KS and hit up Quinter, Hoxie, and Atwood. Our first stop was Hoxie so we could go visit Mae Maw. The kids actually had a bit of fun in the hospital throwing and catching different sized balls with Mae Maw as she was doing her physical therapy. They took some rides in her wheel chair and played some DS too. Harper wore Grandma Popp ragged, running up and down the hallways of the hospital. I think both Harper and Pam slept well that night. The next day we headed to Atwood to visit Albert & Jenny and to check out their new digs. After checking out their big ol' house with a newly rennovated kitchedn that has amazing countertops, we went to the local bowling alley for some pizza and pops. We also went to a couple of parks, fed some geese, climbed a tank, sat in a helicopter and got wind blown the whole time. That wind in NW KS is no joke! Atwood was a good time. We spent a little time with G&G Popp too, doing arts and crafts, riding the lawn mower, swiinging in the morten building, chasing Lilly, and flying a kite. We had a jam packed weekend in KS and really enjoyed it. Here's the pics to prove it! Enjoy.
