Denver Art Museum

We took the kids to the Denver Art Museum today to see the King Tut exhibit. Roman was pumped and thought we would see actual mummies, but no dice. We saw sculptures, drawings, jewelry, sandals, staffs, fans, a cat's sarcophagus, tons of canopic jars where organs were stored and many other Egyptian artifacts that were found in King Tut's tomb. After the Mummy exhibit we walked the rest of the museum and saw tons of different kinds of art and I took pics of some of our favorites. Oh, the frickin' King Tut wing was not camera friendly so I didn't get any shots of that stuff. I was a little bummed about it. Anway, we saw some art, ate some lunch across the way, saw some more art, then drove back home. Roman and Harper fell asleep in the car but Willow was wide eyed the whole way home. It probably has something to do with the fact that she rode in a stroller the whole time and Roman walked. We had a really great time today at DAM and hope they get some more cool exhibits for us to visit in the future. Enjoy the pics!
