Karate Kid

Roman did it!!! He competed in his first ever Taekwondo tournament today and kicked some major ass. He was awarded a trophy for "Best Overall Form" which means he did he Songahm One moves to perfection. It was held at the Ridge Recreation Center in Littleton and there were tons of people there. We saw everything from little ten year old ninjas doing weapons routines to Linkin Park music to third degree black belts sparring. Roman was very intimidated and a bit nervous but he pulled through. All the Tiny Tigers that competed were awarded trophies for various things so they all walked away with smiles. We were there from about 8:30-11:00 and had a blast. Roman said he's ready to learn Songahm Two so he can compete again at the next tournament.
