Breckenridge

CW and I headed to Breckenridge to celebrate our 7th anniversary a little early this year. We didn't want to be there with all the Spring Break crazies during the actual date of our anniversary so February seemed like a better time. We stayed at a ski-in ski-out hotel that was awesome. The first night we got there we rented our skis, walked Main St., ate some fondue, and decided it would be a good idea to go behind our hotel, where you could ski, and teach me some of the basics. After falling down repeatedly, freezing my ass off for a while and hearing some animals circling us, we decided to call it a night and go in. As we got closer to the steps to our hotel we spotted the creature that was making all that noise. It was a bright red fox calling out to all his buddies to come eat us. So the next morning we woke up and hit the slopes. I fell down a ton but by days end I was doing good. CW was an old pro and had no problems, other than me. That night we went to the Breckenridge Brewery for dinner, turned in our skis and relaxed back at our hotel. It was an awesome 7th anniversary and we can't wait for #8. Mimi and Monkey stayed with the kids, who all happened to be sick. Roman and Willow had croup, slight fevers, runny noses and were on breathing treatments every 4 hours. Harper just has a slight cold as of now, but we'll see what happens. Mimi and Monkey are exhausted and glad to see us back home. Hopefully we will all recover soon. enjoy the Breck pics!
