Wildlife Experience Trail of Lights
Over the weekend we took the kids to this place called The Wildlife Experience to check out some Christmas lights. It was freezing outside. I think the low that night was in the single digits, but we hit the venue when it was about 20 degrees. We walked the trail of lights and then went in side to check out the Wildlife Experience. It's the place that has real stuffed animals in their natural habitats accompanied by education information to teach the kids about animals and our environment worldwide. I did not know what to expect so when we walked into the first habitat an saw some kind of a mountain lion chasing down a big jack rabbit and a couple of vultures munching on some carrion, I was both intrigued and horrified. Once we made it through the gruesomeness of nature, we went back outside to Santa's Village so the kids could get their picture with him. We waited in a line for at least an hour, all the while Roman was bitching and moaning about how he didn't want to stand here to see Santa AGAIN! the kids have now seen Santa 3 times. Nontheless, we stood, we took pictures, and we went home....frozen. Here's our Wildlife Experience and Trail of Lights. Enjoy.
