The Tiger, The Witch, and The Wall-E

Happy Halloween! Our Halloween started out with the kids drawing faces on each of their pumpkins and me cutting those faces out. Roman drew his mean pumpkin face all by himself while Willow needed a little guidance. They turned out wonderfully artistic. The kids were chomping at the bit all day long to wear their costumes so when the sun started to go down we had them geared up and ready to go. Roman wanted to dress up as Wall-E which was great because the costume had a pocket in the front for candy. He chose to leave his plastic pumpkin at home and collect his treats in his Wall-E costume. Willow was a pretty Witch. She loves this DVD we have called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Trick or Treat. In the DVD Minnie Mouse dresses up for Halloween as....you guessed it....a witch. So once our little witch was dressed she grabbed her plastic pumpkin and was ready to go. Harper was a tiger this year. She made the cutest little feline you've ever seen. Harper was super tired from beginning to end, falling asleep about 10 minutes into trick or treating. I went home with her to let her sleep and to hand out candy while CW took the two bigs around the block for some major candy action. He Willow was talking non stop and so excited she could hardly contain herself. The highlight of her night was seeing a teenager answer the door dressed at Curious George. She was still talking about that kid's costume until she fell asleep. She has already shared with us that next year, she will be Curious George. Roman filled up his Wall-E candy pouch and was about 5 lbs heavier by the time he got home. His highlight was a pumpkin carved to look like Spongebob and a dude who answered the door dressed like The Joker...Heath Ledger style. He has informed us he will be Spongebob next year. So Halloween was a great success and brought lots of candy to the Popp household. Willow manged to worm 3 Reeses and one sucker out of me while Roman ate two packs of Smarties, a Pixie Stick, and a sucker. Even with all the sugar before bed, they were out like lights.
